WHBC Mission Project and Training
Our congregational mission project for 2012 is in partnership with the Asia Pacific Baptist Peace Network.  For detailed information about this work, click  here.  In support of this project, a spring training opportunity is being offered by Lee McKenna through Partera.  Download a poster or a bulletin insert here and spread the news.  Thanks for your interest in this important and faithful work.

Look up, way up! On the south side of our church roof, Down to Earth Solar has installed a shiny and lively Solar Array, now generating electricity flowing into the local neighbourhood grid (see picture here). Visit their website for more information about how you can do the same.

-------------------------

Community Dinner Our once-a-month evening meals on the THIRD THURSDAY of the month filled the neighbourhood with savoury aroma, flavour and relationships.  Join us on Thursday May 17th. Doors open at 6:25, the meal begins at 6:30 p.m.  Gather with neighbours for a time of hearty, healthy food and interaction.
-------------------------

Soup'n'bread  Our next Soup'n'Bread lunch follows worship on Sunday, June 3rd.  Gather for worship, share a time of communion, and continue our time of communal camaraderie over a nourishing feed.  You are most welcome for any and/or all of this!
